The book of V. Poghosyan sheds light on the approach and assessment of French historiography on the Armenian massacres of 1909 committed in Cilicia. In fact, the contemporary French historians characterize the killings of 1894-1896 and 1909 as an introduction to the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
The author underlines the fact that after a short period in the 1910s, the massacres of 1909 were rarely brought to light and discussed by the French historians of the Armenian Genocide until 1990s. DOWNLOAD
