On December 2, in the conference hall of the NAS RA Institute of History, a commemorative matinee was organized dedicated to Gnel Stepan Grigoryan’s 75th birthday.

The event was started by the speech of the Director of the NAS RA Institute of History A. Melkonyan, which made the organization of the commemorative matinee worthwhile.

Hakob Muradyan, Head of the Middle Ages History Department of the NAS RA Institute of History, Scientific secretary Hakob Muradyan presented Gnel Grigoryan’s biography and scientific activities.

Leading researcher, Cd. of Sci. in History Artashes Shahnazaryan, Leading researcher, Dr. of Sci. in History Ararat Hakobyan, Cd. of Sci. in History Edik Gevorgyan and Scientific Secretary of Matenadaran, Cd. of Sci. in History Vahe Torosyan told memories, interesting episodes from their working years.

At the end of the event, Gnel Grigoryan’s wife, Cd. of Sci. in History, Associate Professor Gohar Khachatryan, gave a speech and thanked the speakers. Gnel Grigoryan’s daughter Mariam Grigoryan thanked the NAS RA Institute of History for organizing the presentation.
