Prominent scholar, literary critic, Doctor of Science, Professor Samuel Muradyan gаve a public lecture entitled «The reflection of the Genocide (Mets Eghern) in the Armenian Literature».

 

Professor Muradyan examined in his lecture the process of reflection of the Armenian Genocide in the Armenian literature, beginning from 1920 and up to the times of poets H.Shiraz and P.Sevak. The lecturer highlighted the role of the poem of Egishe Charents, one of the greatest Armenian poets of the twentieth century. The poem was highly valued by professor Muradyan as an important factor that influenced the society and the social-political life of that time.
