On the joint initiative of the NAS RA Institute of History, “Against Legal Arbitrariness” NGO and the “Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies” NGO, “Maragha 30: an unpunished and ongoing genocide” scientific-practical conference was held at the Conference Hall of the NAS RA Presidium.

The President of NAS RA, Academician Ashot Saghyan made a welcoming speech.

The Director of the NAS RA Institute of History, Academician of NAS RA Ashot Melkonyan, the Executive Director of the NGO “Against Legal Arbitrariness” Larisa Alaverdyan made opening speeches.

  

The conference was chaired by Lilit Martirosyan – “President of the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies”.

The Head of the Department of the History of Armenian Cause and Armenian Genocide, D.Sc. Armen Marukyan (“The continuous genocidal policy of Azerbaijan towards Armenians”) submitted a report.
