On September 27, 2017, within the framework of the Session of the International Association of CIS Institutes of History, an agreement on scientific cooperation was signed between the NAS RA Institute of History and the NAS Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of Tajikistan.

The agreement was ratified by the directors of the Institutes, A. Melkonyan and Z. Akrami. The agreement envisages a wide range of scientific cooperation: the study of historical, cultural ties and relations between the two peoples and countries, history of the Armenian community of Tajikistan and other topics, exchange of personnel, organizing a joint conference, etc. The regular agreement signed by the Institute will further enhance the scientific ties and international cooperation of our Institute and its employees.
