Director of the Research Institute for Southeastern Europe Studies at the National Academy of Sciences of Romania, Doctor Andrey Timorin is in Armenia at the invitation of the Institute of History of NAS RA. On June 7-9, he participated in an international conference held at the Institute of Oriental Studies dedicated to the memory of Armenian diplomat Manuk Bey Mirzayan. On June 11, he gave lectures at the Institute of History on the topic entitled “The Teaching of History of the Southeastern European Countries in Romania”.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Institute of History of NAS RA and the Research Institute of Southeastern Countries of the Academy of Sciences of Romania.
