On 4^th October 2018, by the initiative of the Iraqi historian Dr. Jewad El-Beydhani and in collaboration with the Directorate of  Baghdad Museum, Seda Ohanian of RA NAS,  Institute of History, gave a lecture in one of the ancient and historical chambers of the said Museum.

Detailed information was given about the Armenians’ presence in Iraq  from times immemorial to present days, focusing on the tragic events at the beginning of the 20^th century, i.e. The Armenian Genocide, which led to the exodus of the remainder of the Western Armenians to their final destination in Iraq.
