At the invitation of Gori State University of Georgia on February 21-22, Harutyun Khudanyan, an employee of the RA NAS Institute of History, as the only foreign participant attended the annual conference dedicated to David the Builder.

At the opening of the conference, Khudanyan made a welcoming speech and highlighted the centuries-old Armenian-Georgian friendship, the dialogue between the two peoples and the importance of close academic ties. In addition to scientific reports and heated discussions, an agreement was reached with the Georgian counterparts to promote reciprocal activation of bilateral contacts and participation in various scientific events as well as to transfer those relations onto the scientific-practical platform.
