On September 20 to 22, 2019, the international scientific conference “National Classics in the World Artistic Context” dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Komitas and Hovhannes Tumanyan took place in the Temple Complex of the Russian and New Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Institute of History NAS of RA during the conference was presented by Gohar Vardumyan, Ph.D - the Head of the Department of Old History and researcher Karen Tokhtyan.
