A conference entitled “Educational and Cultural Life in Artsakh” was held on March 29, 2010 at the NAS RA Institute of History.
The conference was organized on the initiative of the NAS RA Institute of History, “Hamazkayin” Armenian Educational and Cultural Union and the Artsakh State University.
Director of the NAS RA Institute of History, Academician of NAS RA Ashot Melkonyan, Chairman of the Central Committee of “Hamazkayin” Armenian Educational and Cultural Union Mkrtich Mkrtichian, Director of the Yerevan Office of “Hamazkayin” Armenian Educational and Cultural Union Ruzan Arakelyan made opening speeches.
The President of NAS RA, Academician Ashot Saghyan made a welcoming speech.
The conference participants were greeted distantly and wished fruitful work by the RA Minister of ESSC Anahit Hakobyan, Advisor to the RA President Lusine Gharakhanyan and Rector of ArSU Armen Sargsyan.
