On August 19th, 2019 the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Academician Radik Martirosyan and Vice-President, Academician Yuri Shukuryan received Dr. Eduard Charchyan - the correspondent member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Aorta Department of the Moscow Pyotrovsky Surgical Center, a well-known surgeon who was born in Javakhk.
In the memory of April War of 2016 hero Sasha Galstyan from Metsamor and about 100 other martyrs a monument was unveiled with the efforts of Termoros Company (CEO Khoren Kotanjyan) in Metsamor of the Armavir region. The architect of the monument is Arthur Baghdasaryan.
On June 24th, 2019, the Armenian Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan organized the conference on "Armenia, 1920-1990" with the participation of specialists from the different educational institutions of the Republic of Armenia.

Yesterday’s protest in front of the building of the Institute of History, NAS of RA by SDHP "Tkhruni" Student-Youth Union is unacceptable.
I do not think, certainly, that the Central Board of the Hnchakian Party supports that street protest.
On June 14th, 2019 the conference was held in the city of Goris dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the great Armenian novelist Aksel Bakunts which was organized by Goris State University.
From March 6th to June 3rd of 2019, Alice Dumikyan, Ph.D - a researcher at the Department of Ancient History of the Institute of History, NAS of RA traveled to Paris to study «The Conceptual Approaches of the Study of the History and Historical Geography of the Van Kingdom in the French Historiography».
On May 25th, 2019, Prof. Karen Khachatryan celebrated his 50th birthday anniversary and 25th anniversary of scientific-educational activity. On May 27th at 2 pm the extended session of the Scientific Council of the Institute of History NAS of RA took place, which was devoted to this event.

It was very disturbing for me to watch the protest video on facebook in front of the Armenian History Institute in Yerevan that the Dekhruni youth or ganization has organized. It is extremely upsetting watching the protesters making demands while blocking the entrance with tape, yet not having knowledge of the Hunchagyan Party’s history.

On May 24, 2018 at the conference hall of the Institute of History, NAS of RA the presentation of the English version of the book "The origins of the Hnchakian party in Geneva and the legacy of the twenty gallows” was held written by Rev. Abel Manookian, Dr. Theol. of the University of Fribourg.
On May 17, 2019 the presentation of the new book “Educational and cultural life and Armenian identity preservation issues in Syria and Lebanon in 1920-1930s” written by Karo Zhamkharyan, Ph.D.The editor of the new book is Edik Gevorgyan.
On May 15-16, 2019, the international conference titled " Hovhannes Tumanyan's spiritual heritage and modernity ", initiated by the Northern University of Armenia was held in Yerevan dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great Armenian poet.

On May 10-12, 2019 an international conference was held at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece titled "The Genocide of the Christian Populations in the Ottoman Empire and its Aftermath (1908-1923)". Several dozens of young and distinguished researchers and genocide scholars from Greece, Armenia, Sweden, United States and other countries took part in the conference.
