The Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia organizes an international conference titled “Foreign Sources on Armenian Communities” dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Armenologist, member of the Mkhitarian Congregation - Ghevond Alishan. The conferene is scheduled to take place on the 15^th of September, 2020.

Those wishing to take part in the conference should submit  abstracts of their papers up to 1 page to the Department of History of Armenian Comunities and Diaspora of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, including the topic of the paper, name of the participant and the academic degree, as well as the institution that the speaker represents (Independent researchers may also participate). The abstracts should be submitted not later than the 30^th of June of the current year.

On January 21, 2020, a conference on "Baku: Continuing Genocide" with the participation of specialists from the various educational institutions was held at the conference hall of the Institute of History, NAS of RA.
